DCAA is developing a museum-quality art center to exhibit African art from primarily local collectors. The center will host thought-provoking programs, immersive activities and events inspired by the experience of the exhibits. The center shall be a resource that will help all visitors better understand the beauty of African art and culture, including that of the African diaspora. It will serve as an internationally respected institute, enabling African Americans to reconnect with their ancestral roots, while inviting people from all walks of life to forge meaningful connections with our shared human heritage of mother Africa.  Through DCAA, all are invited to learn about, honor, and celebrate the rich tapestry of African art, culture and history.
